Pain Research
We employ a multidisciplinary approach — molecular, biochemical, in vitro and in vivo electrophysiological, behavioral — to evaluate mechanisms underlying pain and analgesia. Recent projects have emphasized understanding the transition from acute to chronic pain, neurotoxic effects of cancer chemotherapy and the use of hyaluronan in the treatment of pain.
